Nowadays world No. 1 Social Networking site Facebook also known by Fb is adding many new features, like few days back we got to see new Photo Viewer and now Fb come up with a new feature – Verified Accounts,well if you are not aware of verified accounts then let me clear it – “Verified accounts simply means real accounts”.For example you might have noticed on facebook that there are many facebook profiles with name David Beckham having same/similar profile pic as that of real account,so verified account feature will help us to detect the real profile among the fake ones.
The concept of verified account is not new,Twitter is already having this feature where you can see verified accounts of famous people like Barack Obama,Sachin Tendulkar and so on.
Verification procedure has started from yesterday and many users got a Pop-Up message “Verified Your Account” as shown in snapshot below

Steps to get Facebook Verified Account

To get Facebook Verified Account you just need to fill some important information which are shown in picture.

1.  Upload Government-issued photo ID of any one of them,

• Passport
• Driver’s License
• Work/Military ID

2. If you don;t have IDs then you can upload two alternate IDs,

• School or Work ID
• Library Card
• Credit Card
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card

After completing these steps you can request for an alternate name as well.
(Note : 1. You can only get verified profile of yours if you find “verifying your account” Pop-Up tab in your profile.
2. Your ID/IDs must be clearly visible in photo that you are going to upload )
