How to Install a High Speed USB Driver
High
speed USB allows for a marked increase in USB transfer bandwidth over
its predecessors. However, without the proper high speed USB driver, the
system will default to older, slower transfer speeds, despite having
up-to-date hardware. Installing the high speed USB driver allows for USB
devices such as external hard drives and disc drives to operate quickly
and efficiently without stutter.
