Galaxy S3 gets its own CyanogenMod 10 Preview builds

Galaxy SIII has been an international phenomenon and now even owners of this android device can enjoy the latest Android 4.1 Jellybean. You can enjoy the exciting features of this version like better keyboard, intuitive UI at the cost of other basic functionalities. Cyanogen has offered the galaxy S3 compatible CyanogenMod 10 package. This package is sure to provide the look and feel of the most famed Jellybean.

Most of the issues with this latest build for International Galaxy SIII are fairly critical. One main issue with the calls is only a little troublesome such as “on the first call you may be a mute to the other end but the calls that follow will be good.” Although the build is far from complete it will give a very good idea about the Jellybean.
Known issues with this package include non-functional FM radio, unstable camera, improper Wi-Fi tethering, broken Bluetooth audio and faulty first phone call. Anyway you need to backup your data before proceeding with the update as the update would wipe completely all the data. But you need to flash the ROM at your own risk because there is a chance of bricking the same. The user ‘XpLoDWiLD’ of XDA Developers has warned in his own way as :

“I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing ! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.”

So it is better to wait for an updated version.
