TapIn.tv allows you to become an instant field reporter [App Store Review]

I'm excited to announce a great new application in the iTunes store called TapIn.tv. I had the pleasure of beta testing this application for the developers and I have already found plenty of great uses for it. TapIn.tv is an easy-to-use streaming application that allows you to stream video/audio directly from your iDevice to the internet for all of your friends(and even complete strangers) to see and hear.
As technology advances, it is becoming easier and easier to share what you see with other people. TapIn.tv takes that concept to the next level allowing you to instantly stream exactly what you are seeing, it's as if your audience is right there with you. The application interface is very basic and simplistic which makes it incredibly easy to use. Unfortunately this also means that there are no customization options(filters, text titles, etc.) All you do is hit the record button to start broadcasting and then point and shoot. Everything you see through the LCD screen will be broadcast instantly to the TapIn.tv website for all to see.
When you start broadcasting, there are buttons that will allow you share your stream URL with your friends on Facebook or Twitter which is a great feature. Probably the coolest part about this application is the TapIn.tv website itself which displays all of the live streams from across the world on top of a Google Map. This allows you to instantly and easily tune in to anyone's live stream from around the world.
Unlike other similar services, you do not have to register in order to use this service which means that you can broadcast anonymously. If you do decide to register an account however, you will be able to track your progress on a point-based scale system which adds a nice dimension to the app as well as saving your videos. You will also be able to track the number of viewers tuning in to your stream in the upper left corner(regardless of if you are logged in or not).
At this point, there is no way to view other broadcasts through the application itself, but the developers plan on adding this ability in the future. An Android version of the app is also expected to be released in the coming months.
TapIn.tv is a free application available in the iTunes store now. Try it out and let us know what you think!
