How To Setup Wi-Fi HotSpot on your Droid Razr

A hotspot is a site that offers Internet access over a wireless local area network through the use of a router connected to a link to an Internet service provider. Hotspots typically use Wi-Fi technology
You can also convert your Motorola Droid Razr into a Wi-Fi hot spot so that it can provide internet access to other devices.

Steps to Convert Droid Razr into a Wi-Fi HotSpot

• Turn off Wi-Fi on your phone
• Go to Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi
• Go to Mobile Hotspot > Mobile Hotspot
• Touch Configure Mobile Hotspot to change hotspot security and configuration settings
• Enter the network SSID, security settings (choose password) , choose broadcast channel
• Touch Save

Now you can share these network settings with others and have them connect to the network ssid that you’ve chosen. Once they enter ssid, choose same security configuration and enter password, they would be able to access internet on their device for free.
