Heads Will Roll is a fall down puzzle game created by developer Recursive Games LLC. Heads Will Roll is a game with a very simple objective - get the highest score possible. Not only does it get tougher when as you advance, but there are also various power ups and bombs which can assist you beating your previous score, or completely "blow" your chance of doing so. Pun intended.

Equipped with Game Centre and OpenFeint, Heads Will Roll provides a competitive environment which will constantly have you checking your friends' score to make sure you're always ahead of them!
Heads Will Roll has three levels, each offering a certain amount of points per "head" you get through each platform. For easy mode, your points range from 1 to 3. For medium, your points range from 2-5. For hard, your points range from 3-9. The range is dependant on how far you have gotten through each level. With the use of the accelerometer, this game has very fluid and easy to use controls!
Power ups
What keeps this game very addictive and fresh is the implementation of various power ups. These power ups have been implemented to assist you with getting the highest score possible. There aren't many power ups, but the ones included are very useful. How do you get a power up? It's as easy as tapping on one during your free fall!
Clock - how about slowing down time to allow for easier navigation through each platform?
Colour ball - are you a red ball? Well, don't worry about the red coloured platforms throughout the time that the power up is active!
Multiple heads - multiply your score with this power up which allows you to have more than one head on the screen at a time!
Bomb - completely destroy all platforms to get an easy ride to a tidy amount of points!
With power ups, there is of course, a power down. Whatever you do, avoid that Fail bomb. Trust us.

As you can see from the above pictures, the graphics are very slick and clean. Kudos to the developer for this here, they have found a fantastic medium between gameplay and graphics for this specific genre. Customization
Yes, you're reading correct. This game also features the ability to customise your head! As you can see in the above pictures, I had opted for a black one and a red one. Below is a picture of the array of options available at your disposal.

This is both an advantage and disadvantage to this application. Yes you have your free options available, but you have to pay an in-app purchase of $0.99/£0.59p for "Monsters" and "Custom Photo". I'm sure they're awesome, but in my opinion, making them free would have made this game that much better. To summarise, Heads Will Roll is a fantastic fall down game which will keep you entertained each time you play it. Having the global/local/friend scores integrated with both OpenFeint and Game Centre adds a fantastic element of competitiveness to this game. You'll be spending hours trying to beat your friend's highest score, trust me!
The only reason which has stopped me from giving this game the full 5/5, is not due to its gameplay, but due to the in-app purchases for further customization. As far as a falldown game goes, this is one of the best, if not the best I've ever played.
