Like every previous Windows
system the Windows 7 is not flawless and certainly it has many such issues that

easy steps.
Some of the important factors are

Startup is packed with too much unneeded programs
This is one of the most possible
causes of slow Windows startup issue. Windows requires very few boot files and
programs during its startup process, however if there are too many programs are
listed in the startup list they all try to run when windows boots which causes
the startup delay sometime it might be up to few minutes as well.
If your startup is too heavy and it is packed
with many items it certainly affects the startup and Windows boots very slow.
You may uncheck all the unwanted
startup items from the list and can make your startup run much faster. This is
easy to perform and can be done in just few clicks.
Go to start->Run-> type
“msconfig” (without quotes) and press Enter.
A new Window will appear which is
“Windows System Configuration utility”. Select the Startup tab and uncheck all
the items except your wireless connection.
Note: - Windows OS hides all the
essential services and process from a users view so it won’t affect Windows
boot process in any way at all.
Incorrect drivers’ selection especially not approved by WHQL can cause
Windows 7 to start up slow
Drivers are essential software
programs for your windows machine which work as an interface between your
hardware and software programs. If the installed drivers are not correct they
may create many issues such as slow PC,
slow startup, slow shutdown and many other system related issues. The incorrect
or incompatible drivers especially that are not approved by WHQL or Windows
Hardware Quality Labs can cause many PC
errors. WHQL is a body which takes care about the appropriate and
compatible drivers for windows.
Incorrect BIOS setting renders slow startup problem in windows 7
An Incorrect BIOS (Basic Input
Output Setting) can cause a slow startup problem in especially windows 7. It is
suggested loading the default BIOS setting or reset it manually and check if
this resolves the issue.
Corrupt Windows registry
Windows uses the Windows registry to store configuration
settings of your OS, options, user profiles and preferences about all the
hardware and installed software programs. If the Windows registry is corrupt or fragmented it can cause many system
related issues such as slow PC, PC freezing, blue screen error messages and
many more similar problems.
Thus it is required to keep your
computer registry in shape and protected. For protecting and cleaning of your
computer registry you may use an effective and reliable registry cleaner program which can repair and clean the fragmented
registry so that it does not affect the performance of your system.
